 Addressed to: Mr. Harold Jenkins

From: The Quarters of Captain Andrew Jenkins

" Hello, uncle! It has certainly been a long time. I am doing well, as you can see I am now commanding my own Star Ship called the USS Damion. I enjoy it greatly. I am contacting you as fast as I can, for I heard that Grandmother has passed on. I am sending you this letter with Great sympathy. I did not know grandmother like you knew her, therefore it is hard for me to understand how you feel. Anyway, I will write you again as soon as I can, for I am......rather busy."

Andrew how are you? It’s been a long time since our duties on the Long Island eh? I’m not sure exactly where you’re at right now but you might want to have a seat for this. Yesterday morning at 0500 hours, admiral Vghf came to see me and, well, gave me command of the USS Horizon! A new Sovereign class prototype designed for multiple task missions. Can you believe it? You’re probably as shocked as I am. Who knows we might even see each other on a mission one of these days. Well I had better get back to my temporary office. I have to review and accept the crew roster for the Horizon. I’ll write to you again (when I have the time). Bye for now my friend.
